He has to understand the society we live in, it’s hard enough wearing hijab and long skirts in a naked society.there’s only so much one can take and if they want to. How can it be done for sake of Allah, if not ready. That would be for the husband. If I lived in Saudi I would adjust but it’s too much here. BTW guys it’s not about me.

So is he saying he won’t take no for answer? Like he’ll divorce you if you don’t wear niqab? Maybe he’s looking for a reason to have problems. If I were you I’d tell him no clearly and simply and then he can take whatever action needs to. If he loves you enough he’ll just let it go and if he’s looking for reason to get outta the marriage he’ll use it as an excuse, either way it’s a win for you. Another possible explanation might be that this his way of testing your boundaries from the get-go to determine exactly how much power he can exert in the marriage and how far you’ll let him.
