Yes 9/10 that I see are dark. I would say light skins are pretty rare. Maybe you’re meeting bleached fobs so often that it has skewed your perception.

Nope, I can tell when someone’s bleached. If I really was confusing them then they did a really good job of bleaching because it seemed 100% natural.

In my family, out of the 9 kids, 5 of us are lightskin, 3 are in the middle, and only one is darkskin.

That’s enough of a census I’d say.

I like mixed woman, but I don't want my kids to have a big nose or become non Muslim. A lot of mixed girls have daddy issues, every girl I spoken to who was mixed was raised by a single mom.

Cap :mjlol: most Somalis aren't dark in the west, especially jeberti-land MN.
Most xalimos/faraxs I see around MN are Ilhan Omar's complexion.

If Somalis were dark we wouldn't have random ajnabis tryna guess our genetics.

That’s what I thought as well. I would have believed @Destiny if she said most somalis were brown. But darkskin? Out of respect waan uu camirey and gave her the benefit of the doubt.

I wouldn’t be surprised if she was coping hard trying to say 90% of somalis are darkskin

We’re generally lightskin, but when we’re out in the sun we ran to darkskin, and then during winters or when we stay inside we go back to lightskin.

So maybe that’s why you almost NEVER see a lightskin in somalia, but then you’ll see like 30-40% of somalis in the west are lightskin. Of course there are somalis who are darkskin no matter what.

there's a lot of lightskins in Somalia you're just exposed to dhuxulos of the Hawiye clan
