Can you seriously say anything other than:
AMISOM
&
DP WORLD
If you truly had a “Somalilander Mindset” you wouldn’t be on this forum engaging with other Gobolists and centralist.
There’s are people in Awdal, Togdheer, Sool and Sanaag waiting to follow federalism.
What you’re seeing here isn’t anything other than federalism running it’s course.
But to sit here and tell us 75,000 active personnel is just literally over the top.
AMISOM forces have been the standing army that kept your capital city Mugadishu in one piece for the last 11 years. This is a simple fact that can't be disputed.Just a couple months ago when AMISOM announced they would slowly remove their 30K forces, two terrorist attacks took the lives of 400+ citizens.THAT SOMALIA IS GOING TO INVADE US AND TAKE CONTROL? Don't joke around.
The DP World port deal is the first major investment in Somaliland in the last 27 years. Its a turning point which gave a lot of people hope for the future and other companies are also eyeing to invest in us too.Now Somaliland has stable roots to last several decades until international recognition comes.
I don't who those people who are waiting to follow federalism are,but they aren't represented in the goverment which means they are a very tiny minority which plays no significance to what the majority wants.
We can afford 75,000 active personnel because there are no other job opportunities for those men who enlist and their payments are actually pretty low but better than nothing.
Dude I don’t think you even looked at corporate spreadsheets before. Why do Somalis make $1million sound like 1 trillion.
Do you realize that spending 30% of revenue on the military is xoolonimo?
I don’t think you understand how stupid it sounds to boasts that.
Its not, because we live in the Horn of Africa, the worlds most unstable region, and our neighbour is Somalia which is a country full of warlords, pirates and terrorists.Just a couple months ago some bombs killed over 400 citizens.
Spending 30% of our revenue on the military to protect our citizens safety isn't xoolonimo.I wish Somalia cared about their citizens safety as much as we do instead of relying on foreign troops to protect your people.
