Mogadishu (HOL) – At least three women were injured in an explosion that occurred in one of the ATMIS convoy vehicles at the KM4 junction in Mogadishu on Monday.www.hiiraan.com
three women were injured in an explosion that occurred in one of the ATMIS convoy vehicles at the KM4 junction in Mogadishu on Monday.
According to officials, the three victims were roadside khat traders injured by debris from the explosion.
The cause of the explosion is still unknown, and there has been no immediate claim of responsibility.
Mogadishu’s mine action police force is investigating the blast site. The targeted vehicle was escorted by ATMIS troops, who were unharmed, although the explosion severely damaged the car.
The authorities are investigating reports from eyewitnesses who believe something on AU troops’ vehicle caused the explosion.
Both al Shabab and the African Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) have yet to comment on the incident.
This explosion occurred because ATMIS doesnt know how to store Explosives and motors, the the explosion started in Side the ATMIS truck.
