There's a reason why governments pick those shady encryption algorithms.

1. They're forced to leave backdoors for the US if they want to be seen as a "friendly" ally.

2. They can use those backdoors themselves to spy on their own departments and domestic organizations that use them.

CIA deals with human intel so their defence dept knows who to hit, kill, jail, or cut deals with in a nation. They go around collecting intel, i doubt they have such sophisticated tools. The defence department has the real goodies. They wud have probably 100 levels of graded security in their technology alone let alone weaponry system. The stuff you see america field is just for 'basic' war. I don't think they lifted up to full maximum potential, cuz they have some wicked ass shit that isn't released to the public.

They had the internet in the 50's gives u a good idea how long they keep things to themselves before getting tired of it and releasing it the public. They released the internet in the 90s. So they had 40 years a technology the world didn't know. Imagine what they have now? their 40 years ahead of what is in the market. Some suspect they have 'time' manipulation or simulation of the world where they can penetrate your mind and make u see a simulated world

You're on to something. Government officials are more afraid of their citizens than foreign governments. Merkel was more afraid of Deutschlanders finding out she was surveiled. Japan's leaders were more afraid of a revolution than losing WWII and many of them might have been glad the nuclearBomb helped "honorably" accept unconditional surrender without worrying about a revolution and having to show nothing else coukd be done. No leader from the governments on the list from OP wants their citizens to see that article

Their first priority is their hold on their power.

That's why you see governments do stupid stuff that does doesnt align with what's best for their people or their country.
