He is for sure capping anybody who knows anything about the underground scene during that time knows the circle Stormzy and all the other grime rappers were involved in. It is a fact that rappers or singers hardly have any money in the beginning. Only when they sign 360 deals, even then you don't become rich straight away. I would have thought that would be obvious.

I'm only defending her because I've noticed that whenever a pretty girl even if she has money of her own gets with a guy, there are always jealous men calling her a golddigger. Stormzy was never signed to no record label until he released his second album and even then it was on his terms. Grime has always been about independence but they were never bums like how you make it out to be.
How is it more embarrassing for him? The time of people feeling any sort of shame when acknowledging their past is long gone, as many rappers, artists, celebrities, popular figures, etc. always want to make it seem that, despite their incredible success, they didn't come from a place of advantageous privilege. Such sentiments are actually encouraged due to the amount of popularity and profit the company advertising them receives. It gives young ones a false sense of optimism, and gives their so-called "struggles" credence, driving the easily swayed youth into emulating those said celebrities, artists, etc.
I only questioned the authenticity of the story because of how superficial it sounded. Are you willing to me that a Super Model, whose literal job is to advertise their beauty, would even regard a crack-sniffing bum on the streets as a potential partner?

It's absolutely normal for a woman to do such a thing. What I raised objections to was (what I deemed to be) a fabrication of a story to make one seem more loyal to monogamous relationships, when the fact remains that celebrities (both men & women alike) do not adhere to such things.
Btw, why are you making it seem that I am confining it women only? I am very much aware that men are equally susceptible to such things. It isn't gender exclusive. It's more of a celebrity and class thing. There is a reason why many male rappers use terms like "I focked yo bit.ch" or "She a hoe to the streets", when they, quite ironically, are equally as shameful as the women they're condescendingly addressing.
Raising question marks as to one's upbringing, especially an industry as dubious as the rap industry, does not make one hateful of the opposite gender. Women are not a monolith. There are 3 billion of you all, so raising concern about the actions of one individual does not infer that the rest of the 3 billion are the same.
