China is not stupid they won’t risk everything they built attacking Taiwan. They want country in one piece not bombed out. They also aren’t strong enough to mess with America and it’s minions Europe and Japan. India and China have big populations this doesn’t equate to military strength

The Chinese are playing the long game. They're aware of the mistakes of the last major military engagement in the Pacific; like for instance the Japanese simply could not match or exceed the industrial output of the Americans & mistakenly thought they could knock out the Americans' will to fight by pre-emptively attacking Pearl Harbour.

The Chinese won't repeat the same mistakes made by the Japanese and will only go to war when they're militarily ready for a protracted war.
