China is not going to invade Taiwan. What makes anyone think that would go successfully. It would be even worse than Ukraine vs Russia.

America has yet to win a war against a developed nation. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were what it took to demoralise a proud and powerful japan. That tactic won't work on a nuclear state.
We live in rather interesting times. It's almost as if conflict is guaranteed but no one knows what will trigger it or when.

What’s more likely though is the two powerhouses coming to the usual conclusion which is maintaining the current shitty, ambiguous but acceptable situation.
