If their moral compass is only limited to the Ugyhurs Muslims and not to the persecution of other religious faiths and other non-Muslim minorities, questioning them to why they don’t want to extend such support to Somali Bantu Muslims is warranted. Somalia and Saudi Arabia do not claim to be secular societies. Huge difference, and even then, most people would be less mortified by hangings and other forms of persecutions than this. And then you claimed we are the hypocrites because of how Saudi Arabia and Somalia treats religious minorities, which is firstly a rather convenient strawman as if we are all ghutrah-wearing najdis that worship the Saudi state. If you want to speak about the treatment of certain minorities across Muslim societies, that's an entirely different topic that needs to be addressed in a complex manner seeing as there is major variations across the Muslim world regarding this.

Bro, if we go by the adage of ‘think globally and act locally’ then we should consider ourselves to be morally against the persecution of all human beings, but first, we should start at the local level and help heal the wounds for the injustices we committed (at-least committed on our names) against all the Somali minorities. Some are still vocal to persecute them further by calling the expulsion of all Bantu Somalis from the only country they ever knew. I don’t harbour any real racial malice to anyone. So why wouldn’t I be against women being forced to marry men they have not chosen? I thought that would be stating the obvious.

What captured my attention is the hypocrisy, people chanting savages and crying about Muslims being the victim everywhere they go when it’s simply not the truth. Also because I didn’t share your view you questioned my faith. Further proving the point that Muslim should call Chinese people savages for acts most Somalis would want to be done to minorities. I want everyone to be free and have their rights protected by the state. But some here treat human rights like it’s workers union, where you’re tying to get the best deal for your team as possible. And that seems to be respect our rights when we are a minority but we will behead you in our Muslim majority country or deport you.
