Your choices are valid. If you want, you can adopt a child temporarily to see if you like it. But if you’re sure you don’t want kids, don’t have them bcus nothing but resentment and misery will result. Also before you get serious with anyone romantically, inform them that you don’t want kids.
I want kids because I want a family. I want to be someone’s mother. I want my own little white fence perfect family. Plus I’d be bored without kids, what will I do with my 30s and 40s?

I don’t want to wake up one day miserable and discontent with my life. I want to make the best decision for myself. Thanks for the advice. I never even thought about fostering a child. If I still feel the same way in a few years, I’ll get my tubes tied. I plan on bringing up the topic of children early on. I don’t want to waste anyone’s time.

You're way too extreme. Allah can guide them back into Islam, you don't know what he could have planned for your child. How someone could do that to their own seed is beyond me

If its somali I would suggest bringing up within 1-2 weeks. I would be disappointed to speak to a girl for weeks and find out she dont want children. Thats weeks wasted

If I did, it would be 1, and gauge from there up to 2 at best. On another note, I know I want to adopt or foster at least 1 child to adulthood, so that’s 3 at best overall.

People are resources. look at Japan and the birth issues they have. They have an aging population and to take care of that they either need to import people to have a balance between old and young. Or the route they have taken putting all their hopes on robots. When adults stop having kids and families, they become weird. I dont want to be 50 year old swinger like these childless white people
