The ones in PL are still standing but need renovation asap. They are starting to crumble.

Not sure if it's still standing man but I hope the maamuls got local history in their curriculums. Somali kids studying history need to be encouraged and targeted to come home and contribute their research skills.

Even if it's unesco it's cadaans who choose the sites so obviously they pick their own stuff. Somalia has at least 3-4 strong candidates and maybe we can get something now that we signed fhe UNESCO convention.
Zeila masjid, Mogadishu old town and mosques, tombs in the north and laas gaal are potential world heritage sites with good chances of being recognized.
We also have some natural stuff, raas xaafun should be a natural heritage site
