Your example was Dallas and Houston which are basically the same, I agree west coast and southern states have some differences but I would still say Portuguese and the Dutch have way more difference in culture, language, food and people. It’s not really comparable.

I guess you’re right, if you do look at how big America is you would understand why most Americans just take trips visiting different states, although I find that to be boring. I like Europe much better as every country is so different and has rich history.
