I'm Canadian and it's obvious to me why he's doing this. He wants to maintain power, so he's calling for a snap election before he has to make a very controversial decision.

His whole platform is going to be based on 2 things:

1. How he secured the vaccines to make Canada one of the most vaccinated nations on the planet.
2. His CERB initiative, that allowed Canadians to continue to live and spend money.

Conservatives are the only threat to the Liberals, but on a factual level, I think the Liberals are gonna take it again. They do not have enough Ws under their belt during the pandemic, and the masses will take that into account.

Ontario, Quebec, BC, the Islands, Newfoundland are probably going to the Liberals.

Alberta, most of the Territories are going to the Conservatives.

Manitoba is anyone's guess.

Idgaf about the election. I'm more concerned about what's Justin's plans after being PM again, because that's the only reason he's doing this.

My guess is that after getting the win, there will be a fourth wave, a lockdown as a consequence, and then through fake polls, the masses will be convinced that mandatory vaccines are the way forward.

Trudeau is doing this to restore/rejuvenate his mandate before he institutes some controversial policies.

The Liberals will win Canada (again) and Trudeau will use this show of faith as a means to implement his vaccine/covid policies.

Damn I totally forgot about Australia. I had a video chat with a Aussie colleague who lives there and he told me he was depressed due to the lockdowns. He's in Melbourne. This was a while ago. It was on a Friday late afternoon but it was Saturday morning for him. Even thought he set up the time, I insisted we get back to the work on Monday so he can enjoy his weekend and he said there's no point because the city is on lockdown. Hes a young single man stuck at home and needed to do something to not go crazy. He looked defeated. I don't know what the hell is going on over there. I totally forgot about their draconian measures. I will check up on him since it seems they're on total lockdown again. He looked suicidal. All western governments has been mistreating us. Trudeau is licking his lips for Australia style lockdowns.
