Can you easily tell when someone uses drugs?

How can I easily identify if they are using drugs?

If they are using it long term also depends what drug it is. Cannabis for example no you can’t tell.

Depends, but drugs generally fall into 3 catagories. Uppers, downers and phychedelics, just pay attention to the person's eyes, mouth/jaw and how they're acting in general.

-red eyes
-shifty behavior
-inattention to personal hygiene like brushing teeth
-lying unnecessarily especially on plans and where the person was/has been
-going thru money like it is water or grows on trees
-hanging out with and defending "friends" normal people would question or avoid
