Can somebody explain the situation in Sudan?

The news here is taking about some kind of genocide? Is this real? It’s the Arab Sudanese vs the Black Sudanese, at least the news is showing that narrative.

It's a power struggle between both the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the janjaweed militia, also officially known as the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). The RSF is a paramilitary militia that brutally slaughtered rebels and civilian in darfur back in the 2000s, where they've commited ethnic cleansing, genocide, and other heinous crimes on darfurian people. Even today they commit all sort of terrorism and crimes across sudan and it's people. The fighting broke out on April 15 after RSF refused to integrate themselves with the army days prior to the war. RSF deployed it's troop across the country and later attacked SAF troops in 15th morning which ignited the war that's still happening to this day. Now more than 5 million people have been displaced, mostly from the capital khartoum, many civilians left to neighbouring countries to escape the violence. Khartoum which was once full of life is now a semi ghost town full of RSF terrorists and armed criminals who took advantage of the current lawlessness by attacking civilians and desecrating/looting their properties.

We already have a thread covering this conflict if you're interested in its development, although recently there are barely any new posts since the war is seemingly a stalemate

@Xoxoxo was looking for who and which clan is doing what to whom where and why

beesha Daqalow the of linguistically Arabaized nomadic clan from the Chad border region against Burhaan of the sedentary Arabic speaking Nubian elites from the central northern region

Its a simple qabiile/resources war no matter who calls themselves western/antiwestern or Islamis/secularist not unlike the South's TFG/FGS/shabaab/ISIS wars since 2006

The SAF has people from all over sudan whereas the janjaweed are primarily rizeigat/misseriya tribes of western sudan. Emirati arab dogs are supplying janjaweed both on media and on ground so the conflict isn't just at a tribal level

TPLF/Abiy/ATMIS/Kiinya are involved in TFG/FGS vs ICU/shabaab/ISIS conflicts the ongoing war is still a tribal war with tribal/political solution. The SAF represents tribes/clans supporting warlord/general Burhaan and RSF is the formal name for the clans behind warlord/general Daqalow. It doesnt matter what logos/names/ideologies they hide behind, this is a tribal war.

Officially a war between The RSF and the Sudense army.

in reality, it’s a war between the baggara Arabs of western Sudan and the Arabs of northern Sudan who control the army and country since 1956. The RSF is putting an end to their rule.
