I think Deni can secure a 2 year extension due to regional emergency powers regarding SSC. Untill such time that SSC has established itself politically and security wise and discussed it's relationship with Puntland in a 'legal' format at a 'constitutional' level which is outside the powers of PL govt or SSC.

This is a constitutional matter and requires the following actors ISIMO-Parliament-Constitutional court. It's not the powers of the GOVT or Executive(must uphold constitution and only has day to day powers) or 2 niin qol wada galay. Wa arin taabanayso the whole founding vision of Punland.

A constitutional assembly must be created by the ISIMO to discuss the pros/cons of political unity and if the founding father vision can still be maintained and if any disagreements can be resolved which SSC biggest complaint is power-sharing and PL security forces neglecting Las anod under Somaliland occupation.

If for any reason PL/SSC Khatumo cannot resolve it's issue, PL govt should begin preparations on assisting Khatumo recieve UN recognition(which it already has) and ask the UN to pressure the SFG.

We can't allow Aaran Jaan into power in 2024 JAN 8. Unless the ISIMO of Issa Mahmoud will sideline them from politics and we push someone la hubo such as Juuxa who has strong credentals at a regional and federal level. U don't know the dangerous cross roads were in AARAN JAAN and Farole lapdogs who will vacate SSC and Isaaqs will throw money towards them to RUN. Let's be patient with Deni, I don't like extension either as I pride myself on our on-time election s since 2005, it's become a tradition. But let's wait till these matters in SSC is solved at a security level and then political level between PL/SSC to hold a constitutional summit with all actors involved in the creation of PL to discuss unity or separation. Once we know SSC boat is settled, lets not risk this critical time where we know our enemies r plotting and waiting for PL election in 2024.

Only Issa Mahmoud we as puntites can trust and is loyal and also competent(federal n regional) level is Juuxa. But Issa mahmoud are not backing him. I am impressed with Ahmed Barre the Mayor of garowe, but he needs regional-federal experience first.

Deni is the best president in PL history, even superceded Abdillahi Yusuf. Why? he combined the traits of all the previous president before.

1. His security posture internally and externally is remarkable. He has brought back SSC after 15 years. Plus his internal security is strong and has done security reforms away from the old PL thinking of 'attrition n quantity warfare' to lean-slim-competent 10k standing armed force, doing war on 'caqli' not 'brute primitive ali beestan' nonsense. Following in PSF footsteps.

2. Development. He took farole who began this legacy and Gaas to even bigger heights.

3. Democracy. He fulfilled one of the big constitutional duties, even tho it's not agreed on.

4. His federalism posture on the SFG is identical to Farole and he took that strong point. Federalism ensures all Somali are included as stakeholders unlike centralism/secession which is only for 1 clan interest.

Simply put he combined the strength of all previous presidents and taken it to a new level, rather then carve his own thru test/try or copy one presidential style which comes with losses.

Deni is strong candidate even if elections were held on-time, becuz SFG is sending 'awad' and SL 'aaran jaan' so u see why puntites will even re-elect him.

He spent 1 year avoiding answering whether we would go for an extension. Even the Information Minister has said technical extension wouldn’t be such a bad thing.

I don’t trust a politicians words. 1m1v can be blocked like it was in Garowe. has he found a solution for ballot box attacks?

I want reer SSC opinion on Harti political unity vs Separate governments. What is their views if we have 1 Darawish Active Forces for both areas(wejiga hore), while our clan militia reserves are 'separate'(wejiga dambe) becuz we do not want a centralized security like SL army, you saw the losses in goojacade.
