Lmao so much bitterness in that thread as if our current struggles are permanent. They really hate seeing us progress, it's crazy especially for a people who are among the lowest diaspora's in the world. I don't mind it really because Somalia is on the come up and there will be a point when they can no longer deny our unstoppable progress towards prosperity. These types will probably be the ones who will later on pretend like they didn't hate on us this much when our country enters a more favourable and respectable condition on the global stage which isn't far.
It’s so weird. You’d think Somalia colonised other African countries the way they speak about us. Like we very much keep to ourselves we are not like certain African countries such as Rwanda who are stealing from Congo. All this hate towards us is insane.
Exactly. But all this unwarranted attention they give us and the way they value our opinions, we can easily use this to our advantage in the future and become very influential in the global stage. If they care about our country and what we think this much now, imagine how much cultural influence we can have when Somalia gains economic power in the future that can compete in the global stage. This is how I'm interpreting this level of attention towards us. It's only a matter of time until all this hate turns into glazing.
