Lol I saw the thread you made about it, idk why you deleted it but in the quotes of that tweet I saw a Burundian say "Somalia out of all countries is laughable" meanwhile Burundi is one of the poorest countries in the world- far more poorer and irrelevant than Somalia. Their lack of self awareness pisses me off wallahi, they really look down upon Somalis meanwhile their countries are worse or on the same level as us.

Why the hatred tho? In the past year or so I’ve noticed Africans especially have had it out for us.. I just can’t wrap my head around hating an entire ethnicity. Fun fact, Nigeria has a lower life expectancy than Somalia. It also has a GDP per capita of $800 because it was recently forced to free-float its currency for an IMF bailout. So it is as poor as Somalia, and its citizens live shorter lives.
Who cares what these monkeys have to say about Somalia? My dad is back home (Hargeisa currently) and he is saying that it’s already more developed than many African countries. he said the Ethiopian airport is a warehouse and terrible compared to the one in Hargeisa. so you can imagine what Mogadishu will look like in a few years.
When you factor in a ten phase civil war, multiple famines, terrorists occupying half the south, deforestation, the worst neighbours we could ever have, ethnic cleansing, foreign occupation by AMISOM, lack of foreign investment, sanctions on our money transfer, economic blockading on our occupied territories (which only lifted in 2018 in Ethiopia, 2022 in Kenya) etc. and you see the rapid development of our towns and cities across Greater Somalia, with our occupied territories, evidently it’s not the Somali people being too stupid to develop. What excuse do they have in comparison? Nigeria is an oil producer like Saudi? Why do Saudis live like Kings but the average Nigerian lives a worse life than our most destitute Somalis?
Every time I see pictures from family back home, the obvious development is rapid. Who cares if they don’t see it? I’m going to enjoy my developing, low crime, beautiful country myself.
