A lot of the time, the reason Somali kids are misbehaving and acting up more here instead of back home is because they’re usually vilified and treated badly.
The best school experience I had was ironically in a first school I went to in Kenya when I was surrounded by people who looked like me, we shared the same tax bracket (lower class westerner and upper class African), and held the same beliefs etc…
