Somalis in the US have the right to call it their home, too. Are Latinos suggesting that they should make plans to leave? They continue to flock to the America each time. Meanwhile, Somalis barely make up 200K in the US, and most of us have only been in the West for 30 years, which is nothing compared to other immigrant communities.

I couldn't care less about their acceptance. The real problem here is the constant stream of misinformation they love to throw our way. We need to make an effort to counteract it, but it seems like most Somalis on social media are caught up in nonsense. These racists have found their safe space on Twitter since Elon took over, giving them the audacity to spew whatever nonsense they can about us.
This is why we should be unapologetically racist, who cares if Madow get mad at us? The world hates us and we need to wake up already. Stop fighting each other & focus on the real threat, Cadaan & Madows. I advise everyone here to stop allowing Ajnabis to attack us, we're one of the most targeted minorities when it comes to discrimination. Everyone hates us even your so called ''fellow Black Africans''. Even your liberal Cadaan friends view you as inferior to them deep down.

I dont understand why there isn't any note attached to any misinformation against somalis. Why aren't somalis in masses protecting our name as we are the fore front of smear campaign. By next year inshallah we as people need to collectively go in droves and start reporting these accounts or atleast quote tweet in masses with any correct information.

That "Somali, Muslim and Black" line got old. Please retire it. People notice and appreciate others who act correctly and contribute positively to the wider community; Somalis as a collective don't do this. Let's acknowledge reality: insular, high crime rates, high community housing rates (35+ years and counting), high unemployment rates, suspectible to extremism of all kinds, loud, divisive, attention seeking, unaccountable, constantly blaming white people even when the judge and jury sees video evidence (I have a real life example of this by the way), etc. The list really is endless. I don't say this to only criticize the community but to fix up. Correct your wrongs and in 10 years, everyone will forget about you. Many will even love you and put you in the same category as Ismailis and Lebanese and others. You must swallow the bitter truth, otherwise your grandkids will say the same crap in 2050. Horta It ain't easy to fix a rep like this, but we all gotta start somewhere. I think it would be a good idea if a group of serious, dedicated people traveled to different Western countries where the rep is in the gutter to talk to people about the importance of having a good reputation and also improving the image worldwide. They could invite both parents and kids to a potentially huge conference hall where they discuss not just personal improvement but also emphasize how negative actions can impact the entire group. Who knows, maybe that message would go viral, and more people would start paying attention to their own individual actions and how they could affect the whole communityMaybe this would wake up people up
