Don’t you think more people would be carrying guns if it was as accessible as knives? Guns cost more like way more and even if you go through the black market it’s a lot more hassle than just grabbing a knife from your house so technically not the same.

I thought we were talking in general? Of course I agree school is not the place to carry any weapons as the risk of innocent bystander getting hurt is higher, I was advocating for self defense in general. Here in states after the whole NZ incident sheikhs and maajd workers are being encouraged to carry, now in perfect world masjid shouldn’t be the place we bring weapons but we don’t live in a perfect world.
