I never expected to see SSC united in my time-period. All I know is after their final internal war(barkhad vs baharsame) where 100 was killed and an imam burned alive, they were invited by jigjiga and they came back united and created this khatumo state. Then Hiil Harti rose up at a social level, which then forced PL govt hand to accept this Khatumo 'boat has sailed'.

Mind you some calculated deaths(garad saleban, garad soofe, ali khalif galayr) allowed Garad jama to control a new generation of Isims. Ogaden played a huge role. PL didn't play any such role. That's why I urge Ogaden to hold a jigjiga summit for Somali clans since all region economic future depends on Ethiopia, plus this pan-somalism is their sayid abdulle philosophy.

If ethio controls our electricity as is planned, plus trade partner, plus I been watching the 'farming' in DDS focusing on industrial techniques of farming of 'wheat', which will make us even more dependent on their seeds for our food security. Plus if they get their oil out and refine it locally, that will also make us dependent on their fuel. DDS should play the Djibouti role for Somalia, it actually has the 'teeth' which Djibouti a city state never will. Djibouti current performance as can be seen is horrendous, in comparison we saw Jigjiga performance with SSC(the most disunited clan in Somalia).

However @Thegoodshepherd is PL envoy for Somali Region to keep an 'eye' on there as that is the homeland where the current pan somali philosophy was born. SYL only 'crafted' the system for it they were not the owner/founder of the idealogy. Dad badan siiba @Dharbash folks DIED FOR IT way before SYL existed.
