I am absolutely terrified

edit: may Allah reward him for his religious zeal, still jarring tho
Yeah I wouldn’t want someone yelling at me everytime I went to the masjid. If you do it too much it loses its effect as well

damn, I don't even go anywhere else :deadosama:
neither does 90% of people, most people meet at school work or something like that,
thats why so many people meet online nowadays, in all seriousness there is no other way your randomly gonna find someone to be in a relationship with

Telling your kids you met their mother at the masjid is miles better than some dutty club down the road, this "wadaad" is just a hater, he can't handle the competition the young boys are bringing and want to keep all the nan for himself.

The honest wadaad especially Somali masjids they will tell you to get married to one of the girls who attend their classes, but these foreign thug "wadaad" with thuggish slang most of them are predator who use their authority at the masjid to get into the cabayat of female students.

Not the time or place to look for a love connection. Though I hear some people scout there for marriage prospects.

Places I would avoid people for marriage. (1) school, (2) work, (3) masjid. I don't mix business and personal ever. I'm about my business.
School is temporary so is work when you're young and don't have a full time career yet, probably the best places to meet someone imo

:kanyeshrug:Everything is transitory in life.

  • The people you work with are part of your professional network. The chances of you coming into contact with them again are likely even if you leave a workplace. Personally, I don't mix business and personal.
  • People you went to school with (you may not see again after you are done). However, these weak social ties could prove resourceful to you in the future. No matter where you go you create positive or negative social currency. Don't underestimate that. I think you should move with caution. If you ever go for someone you met in school have a high degree of certainty about a positive/fruitful outcome. Otherwise don't bother.
  • Also, when you are in a university setting and young, people are (1) broke and (2) unserious. I don't see this combination as boding well.

Bro, the daughter of the sheikh to my local mosquee was dating a random convict who just get out of jail for drugs, she used to bring him during tarawir and meet him in a hidden part close to the masjid ,:dead:
west African or North African because they definitely weren't somali French boy
:damedamn:

I don't know about Snapchat but there is nothing wrong with meeting or getting to know people for marriage via a mosque.

The mosque is supposed to be the community centre not just the place you got to pray.

You can get married in a mosque what make anyone think you can't get to know someone via a mosque
