whats wrong with girls airdropping their snaps to boys and vice versa? are people not suppose to be wanting to get to know each other? why does all gender interactions have to be criminal or become sexualised?

I just imagine a xalimo liking a farah and then airdropping her snap to him and then having to hear this feisty sheikh making her feel like a jezebel.

honestly I tire of hearing loud angry moslem men shouting about minuscule things like this, like be mad about unemployed young moslem men addicted to corn not about things like this...
Do it on your own time, a masjid is a house of God.

You realise "pengtings" is uk slang for basically sexy/hot girls.
This isn't just some innocent snaps.

I don't understand what's wrong with getting to know someone at a masjid. It used to happen in the prophet's time. People would actively seek spouses among other masjid goers. It's better to look in the masjid than some other places.

Speaker needs to worry about bigger issues in the community

Why y’all acting like Snapchat isn’t where all the inappropriate shukaansi happens? Talking about getting to “know each other” and “connecting”. Teenagers being driven crazy by hormones aren’t going to be talking about “what’s your relationship with your parents” but they will link up at a mall somewhere

i read somewhere that the prophet pbuh use to shout cry and be very passionate during his kutbahs. so maybe they’re trying to follow that
Yeah, I've read those hadiths but I'm not sure if he raised his voice in all his sermons or talks. For the most part, our Prophet SAW spoke with a regular and relaxed voice because that was his nature & personality.

This doesn’t sound passionate, just aggressive.
it might be a small cultural difference but people in the UK can come off as a bit rude and abrasive to my Canadian-socialized self.

Not the time or place to look for a love connection. Though I hear some people scout there for marriage prospects.

Places I would avoid people for marriage. (1) school, (2) work, (3) masjid. I don't mix business and personal ever. I'm about my business.
