I lived in Xamar but never used some words my playmates used on the regular. For example, when they wanted me to get up and stand up, they used to tell me "Roogso" which is also a modified "Joogso", in another somali version it is simply "Istaag" or "Sara Kac".

I just realized Somali is RICH.

This may be a stupid question, but is it Somali that is used by Reer Woqooyi or Reer Konfuur? Not that they speak a complete different language, but I do for example find it hard to understand people from Xamar.

btw, the dictionary contributors are from Hargaysa/North, at least some of them. The Somali translation they provided is accessible to all Somalis who know Somali very well regardless of what region of Somalia(including Waqooyi) they hail from.
