MSB didn't lay a single foundation stone in Awdal iska dha an airport lmaooo.

The British were most likely responsible since there are old accounts of them maintaining the Borama airstrip in the 1950s.

The adjacent utility buildings such as the control tower and what not were most likely built by Samaroon later on and were used until the airport itself went defunct. Image that the British Gaalo did more for us than Somalia ever did.

I had a feeling it was a lie and he probably knew it too which is why he didn't respond loool

Walaalow, ilaahay ka baq, life is too short to spend it being a sheegad. This is a sin, if you are wise, you'll worry about your afterlife instead of whatever this is.

I don't understand why some people try to instigate something that don't not Exist, Samaroon are happy with their position. i can even say they benefit the most from dhulbahante going out of picture.

They post people who haven't gone back home for over 40 years and are most likely never going to ever come back and are content with their lives in the West. These guys can't seem to comprehend the idea that we're good lol. It's almost blasphemous and an anathema, they want us to say we're oppressed and being killed on the streets. This is the narrative they want to be pushed. It has nothing to do with them wanting good for us. If they wanted good for us why didn't Somalia build one road in all of Awdal from 1960 to 1990? It's more a hatred for Somaliland than love for us.
What is there to hate about somaliland πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ its actually them deporting maskin reer southwest for no reason

What did Siad Barre do for Gedo or Sool? Nothing. Only Xamar was developed whilst everything else was neglected.

Reeraha M and D of the tripartite should be asking themselves that. You were highly favoured and didn't get any development in your regions but you did get over-representation which made up for it whilst we didn't get either.

1960-1991 the government was Xamar focused and didn’t focus on regions outside of it, it’s not unique to Awdal, or Gedo etc. Also, every single M and D that were in high positions were related to Barre, not random people. Nepotism not tribalism.

A lot of areas were neglected but some still had factories, bridges and roads. Especially in Sanaag, also Burco also had a huge cattle farm where livestock and meat were shipped to arab countries, that was our main export after we lost the war. People tend to dismiss it a lot, but many of the problems Somalia is facing today can be attributed to losing the 77' war. The arrogance of the old government is that they thought once they won and secure the area they could start developing nationwide. They even had plans for a national rail road before even winning the war and on Radio Radio Muqdisho you had generals and armymen bragging about celebrating Eid in Addis Abba.

here are some of the Factories that were built nationwide, most have been destroyed.

Also there's a few bridges around Woqooyi and dams around the South that are untouched. This one dam in Balcad still impresses me
