Why accept an identification that was created long back by racists for the poor slaves? Being Black back then meant you had no rights. Africans should never accept that identification. People from Asia are identified by what they name for themselves. Aren't Americans that come from Pakistan called American-Pakistanis and the Chinese are called American-Chinese? The recent African migrants currently living in US should not accept that term. I don't think the Asians and Arabs will accept an identification based on appearance.
