Russia was always planning to attack the Ukraine after the peace talks failed and the West was intent to on arming Zelensky. I don’t think Trump would have made a difference as the Russians viewed the war as one they either fight today or in 20 years with Ukraine as a mini super power in the region.

As for the Palestine, Trump was the one who sidelined the Palestinians by recognising Jerusalem as the capital of the Jews. His people were some of the architects behind the Arabs states recognising Israel and the policy of Dubai which has turned Sudan into a hell hole along with the continuing wars in Yemen/Libya.

Trump is a dangerous and reckless man. The fact that less wars occurred under is just pure coincidence. If he takes power he will double down on his anti Islamic rhetoric which lead to a surge in right wing popularism across the world.

No one knows what on earth Trumps policy would be to the Ethiopian regime.

What I am missing that was so good about Trump in terms of international relations?

It looks like the Somalis are the face of the "Uncommitted" vote in Minnesota. Good. It makes politicians to listen to the voices of the Somali community in that state.
