That hadith refers to setting a good example or setting a bad example. The prophet was raising money, nobody gave money until the Ansaar man came and donated, everybody else followed him. The bidcah the scholars categorised is about setting good example. Sometimes it is waajib to set a good example, like praying so that others follow suit.

This is why I said, the OP is sharing stuff he doesnt understand. All the examples the likes of him use, like Taraweeh, is not bidcah because the prophet led the people in taraweeh before he stopped.

The problem here is not innovation in general but in religion. I.e do I have the authority to introduce a new form of prayer or more rules on whats forbidden or permitted.

Further down the line you will find people singing and jumping as a salah or people lashing themselves as penance for sins.

i can see your point but the salah is sunnah which cant be changed i dont see that ever happening but the innovation that were talking about isnt innovation at all they have been permitted by scholars but salafist dont follow any scholars and claim anything new is bidac which is furthur from the truth

من سنن في الاسلام يعني سنن و ليس بدع

سنن:هي ما قام بها رسول الله

البدع: هي ما لم يقم بها رسول الله و ليس لها اصل في الاسلام

البدع حسب ما اني فهمان هي اللي بتغير بالتشريعات والفرائض المنزلة، مثل إفتاء صلوات جديدة أو إلغاء الموجودات مثلا.

لذلك قال أبو حامد الغزالي: «ليس كل ما أبدع منهيّاً عنه، بل المنهيّ عنه بدعة تضاد سنّة ثابتة وترفع أمراً من الشرع»

مثال آخر على مستحثات لا تعتبر بدعة بالمعنى الفقهي ولكنها لم تكن موجودة بزمن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم هي الوضوء من الحنفية، الناس بزمانها اعتبروها بدعة.

الشيوخ فرقوا بين الأفعال الجديدة غير المخالفة للشرع ولم تكن وغيرها

قال ابن رجب الحنبلي: «والمراد بالبدعة ما أحدث مما ليس له أصل في الشريعة يدل عليه، وأما ما كان له أصل في الشرع يدلّ عليه فليس ببدعة، وإن كان بدعة لغة».
