For me it’s always going to be qaraami. Qaraami is peak Somali music and is intertwined with poetry which is the core of Somali culture!! The vocals .

Modern Somali music is fun but doesn’t make me feel anything.

The old ones are nice and the modern ones have variety and better quality But i have an affinity to music made during dagaalka. This what i grew up on besides anthem Not kacaan music or qaraami
