I was a teen in the 2010’s it was fun. In the early 2010’s social media was not that big, apart from Facebook lol everybody was on FB back then. In the mid 2010’s IG and Snapchat became popular. But overall, social media didn’t really consume people’s lives like it does now.
In the early 2010’s most people preferred to talk on the phone rather than text because the keyboards looked like this and were quite inefficient for texting
This changed as iphones and androids became more popular around 2014-ish
People were also much less “politically correct” and oversensitive but this changed around 2016-2017 ish
Facebook was the first social media website I ever used. Created an account when I was 13 and actually had fun on there until I discovered twitter when I was 16.
I only check Facebook a few times a year now.
These days the only people active on my Facebook are single moms, hood niggas, conservative cadaan niggas, and blue collar niggas. I feel like facebook niggas low-key got a lower IQ compared twitter niggas.

Twitter and social media was way more ruthless. Even gaming was more toxic. It still is but it peaked when call of duty blew up. LeBron and Steph curry pretty much dominated the NBA during the decade so even though the champions were always predictable the NBA was still fun to watch.
I got my first cellphone so the only way I could listen to music was by owning an MP3 player. I had an iPod shuffle for awhile but after it broke I just stuck with
cheap MP3 players.
Somalis in my area were pretty much unknown. Niggas just assumed I was Ethiopian.
