Beautiful Laasqoray District

Good! It’s about time we had these cows in Somalia. Japan did the same many decades ago. They bred them with their local stock to increase milk production.

The fact that there aren’t ranches in Somalia is one of the biggest mysteries in human development. We literally saw the success of that system in America, Europe and Japan yet nobody, not a livestock herder or a government official thought to themselves, maybe we should adopt this in Somalia? It would prevent over-grazing, it would prevent petty conflict as there would be clear delineated private areas for grazing per herder or farmer, it would create more employment in the former of herders, vets, farmhands feeding animals, producing milk, cheese, yoghurt, etc, leather-manufacturers, meat-processing, livestock export to coastal ports etc, an entire new economic eco-system, one that could be more sustainable and resistant against droughts.

We have a long long long way to go before we can implement this brilliant idea. We are still dealing with unprecedented corruption.

They are incredible wallahi. They are also more pest resistant. Apparently it belongs to the only species which can be interbred with other cattle to create new breeds. Allah is great indeed. Their hump is also one of the best tasting meat ever.
Very interesting

How do you know all of this if you don’t mind me asking?

It takes alot of money to build a road from the lowlands land through the mountains

Ideally Bosaso-Ceelaayo-Laasqoray or we can extend a road from Galgala which is already paved upto Milxo and from there onto Geeldoora path would be easier to do. From there you can get to the mountains by car
It does not cost too much if its unpaved,
