Last time I was in MN, I was taken to Safari restaurant. we tried their fantastic chicken rice, and it wasn't all that to be honest. it was too creamy ..
:hova:
Stay away from safari and quruxlow most people that go there are either truck drivers or a xalimo that’s trying to feed her 15 kids on a budget. I like going to smaller cafes, they have better food.

So what if I am not a city dweller FOB like you guys. Some of us grew up in the suburbs and went to expensive private schools:mjpls:
I grew up and still live in the suburbs and I still enjoy the city life. I bet the only exciting thing you do is sitting at the park and people watching :ulyin:

Lol we have couple of restaurants that try to be different like this

But the food is shitty :nahgirl:I will take the non modern, average service with great food over shit like the ablove. Good Food >aesthetics imo.

It's not bad, but it's too spacious which kills the atmosphere. I am not saying let's get a 5* star restaurant, but a bistro, which is in between a restaurant and a cafe, a lot more casual. But it should be small and cosy. And no wooden chairs for crying out loud

They are fobs acting ilbax. I though the second lady was saying marin, but she meant modern. At least it's more friendly than Willo

Not knowing where valley fair is makes you the ultimate fob :nahgirl:growing up in the suburbs has nothing to do with knowing your way around Minneapolis. If you had any social life growing up, you will know these basic things. My elementary and middle school had less than 5 Somalis and I know all these places :bell:

I know where these stores are but who bothers to remember busted store front signs of Somali businesses:heh:

Something like this is simple yet welcoming. I ate here and a 3 course menu costs less than 40€

Lol I give it 3 more months before it closes, Somalis either don’t try or go over the top, no in between. Anybody can open anything in Minnesota that’s the problem, if you can put together a little money you can open whatever you want, you don’t have to have experience:francis:

You're confusing me with @Starscream

I've never set foot in North Minneapilis, :nahgirl:

You're treated like a guest in Mn when you go to Minneapilis. Smh

Your FOBness revealing itself:siilaanyolaugh:

:francis: And I wont lie, FOBs and their unprofessionalism annoys me so I do avoid it when possible

@TheShinning one of the ladies that co-owns the Zayna restaurant also runs the zizi boutique. The dollar store version of fashion nova. The audacity of her saying 36 dollars for a plain midi pencil skirt, I laughed at her face Wallahi.
