The word “terrorist” has lost it’s meaning and the one’s who abuse this word the most have lost all credibility. Nowadays it’s mostly used by powerful governments to designate their weaker political opponents even though those same governments commit worst atrocities then their weaker opponents. It’s also used by tyrannical governments to silence political dissidents who verbally express their opinions.

For example, Israel which persecutes, massacres, bombs and displaces Palestinians on a daily basis aren’t designated as “terrorists” but when Hamas retaliates back and does something allegedly similar, the Western world designates them as “terrorists” and supports Israel which continues to perpetuate crimes against Palestinians. Similarly, Nelson Mandela was designated as a “terrorist” when he challenged South Africa’s apartheid government.
