Believe it or not, that carnivore thing I'm always babbling about has always helped me with my sleep. Never suffered through anything insomnia related since I started almost a decade back. I and other people who eat this way have also noticed that eating this way also reduces the need for a lot of sleep. I'd go to my 9-5 and sometimes be running on 5 hours or so of sleep with still incredibly potent energy all throughout the day. A great go to meal for me that's quick and easy to make for me is egg-meat scramble.
Ingredients:
1lb ground beef (80:20)
12 eggs
Add some butter or tallow to cook (your choice how much and not even really necessary)
Steps:
1) Cook ground beef at medium heat in pot or pan until it is well-cooked
2) Scramble 12 eggs into a mixing bowl
3) Pour 12 eggs over cooked ground beef
4) Change heat to highest setting possible and mix eggs and beef up
5) For scramble: Cook until the scrambled eggs hardens
5.5) For cake: Stop scrambling once the eggs look somewhat creamy/wet at the top but seem harder below and wait until they get a little harder at the top, and wait maybe a minute or half a minute more then flip onto your pan
Egg-meat scramble or Egg-meat cake. Keeps me energized and appetized all throughout my day even with minimal sleep until the next meal, though I wouldn't make a habit of running on 3-4 hours of sleep or something . Sometimes if I'm particularly active I get hungrier and throw on top like 1.5lb of chicken legs or some chicken hearts (1-1.5lb) or some small steaks and such.
I'm not the only one who notes sleep benefits:
