He put me in a uncomfortable compromising situation. I don't think we'll ever get back together. The kids live this arrangement because they see us both and he treats them whenever he sees them.

Maybe have a talk with him and see. When my cousin got divorced her husband remarried and now he's doing everything she never got from him for his new wife. He did beg her to take him back but she had doubts but looks like he did really change.
