If a politician is corrupt his tribe Will defend his actions

If a murderer gets caught his tribe Will defend him

People are so backwards its crazy

If Somalis admitted the truth they will go crazy. Its safe for them to lie to themselves. They have done it through centuries as Nomad. When its dry, no rain, famine, they would sing somali lullaby songs about how their fore fathers were rich merchants from Yemen. Fake it till u make it

It’s sad really. This kibir and always wanting to be at the top affects the Somali community in more ways than one. Not only is it destroying our country but it’s also destroying Somalis’ trust in each other. I can tell you that I’d rather confide with my ajnabi friends than my Somali friends or relatives. I hope that we’ll be able to move from this inshallah.
