Are Somali sugar babies a thing?

Over the last few years I have seen more and more Somalis girls having sugar daddies all over the place. Whether it be the local one who has them in the Marriott hotel every week(used to work there) for a designer clothes allowance or the ones that fly them to Paris or Dubai. I was wondering if this is a thing with Somali girls in different countries in the diaspora?

There are dudes literally in this forum that made threads about wanting a stay at home wife .That's why some consider going back home so they can find a pure virgin female that would be happy being a house wife. Mfs want a servant basically.

I personally don't know any Somali chicks married to that many professionals but the ones I do know are doing pretty well. The professionals aren't rich though but so Far I think all the females do is take care of the kids, the house and just chill.

You lack imagination. Being a housewife is a pretty great arrangement for a Somali women provided the man is bringing in sufficient cheese for everybody to be comfortable. A housewife can do a lot of fulfilling things. Pursue hobbies, study, read books, and above all, focus on raising your children which is extremely demanding and fulfilling if you're a normal, well-adjusted female.

Being a housewife isn't a lifetime post. It's temporary. Just until the youngest kid is 8 years old or so and the older ones can takeover.

It's too bad we're not like Indians and Chinese people who have the retired grandparents living in the same house as them and basically cook, clean and take care of the kids after-school while the parents work their high-paying 9-5s. It's tough...

I think you have completely missed the point. I mean sugar babies as in want sugar daddies, girls that are only with men for money but tends to be like a cash for sex transaction or an allowance type deal where the guy gets what he wants and she gets certain amount of cash every month. He might take her travelling too. I was just wondering if this phenomenon was common among Somalis from other places outside UK?

Why do you think it's with a sugar daddy? It's been like 20+ years since civil war happened. Pretty sure we got some xalimos out their that can afford these things without a sugar daddy.

I have heard of chicks getting married to wealthy dudes and chilling with the husbands money while taking care of the kids.

I wouldn’t mind being a housewife (when having kids) tbh. That doesn’t mean you’re not doing shit. Being a housewife is a full time job. The whole point of college isn’t only about getting a job, but also to develop yourself.

All jokes aside a woman can still work before having kids and later on when her children are older. Of course there are cases of women who choose to work (while having kids) or maybe don’t even have a choice (single mothers).

i have been surrounded all my life by working women so the thought of people actually aiming to be a housewife caught me off guard. Didn't think any females around my age were striving to be housewives
