Are Middle Easterners and North Africans the Same Race?

That's exactly my point, Egyptians are historically connected to the Levant rather than the Maghreb so it's annoying seeing "North African"

Formerly Egyptian speaking Egyptians live between the formerly Berber speaking Maghribi people and the formerly Aramaic Mashriqi people

Why? It not that bad of a descriptor. Just like Sub-Saharan Africa includes both Gabon and Eritrea, very different places.

It is just a generic descriptor.

Geographically descriptive. Culturally and physically Egypt has always been loser similar to Sudan and Levant whereas Moors/Dawaarq/Amaaziigh/Berbers are cultulally and physically closer to Sahelian Muslim nations near them.

Maghrib and the greater belaad as Suudaan are physically/geographically closer. They are also follow Maaliki madhab like the Maghribians.

Meanwhile Egypt has been geographically and culturally closer to what are now modern nations in/on the Levant and Nile, fr9m Xabashistan to Shaam. antiChalcedonian Christianity and Shaafiici madhab are features of those nations but not the Arabized Amazigh and nonArabized western Sahel nations

Dont look superficial things like how much melanin they have

I think you meant "geographically" instead of "physically" but as I told you sahelians follow the maliki madhab because of maghrebis (the same way al andalus also followed it). Also Culturally I don't see what sahelian people share in common with maghrebis but ok

Physical distance is geographical distance. Why are Amazigh culturaly closer to Coptic Egyptians than Coptic Abyssinians?

Culturally, Egypt has more in common with the lands of Greece, Ethiopia, Levant & North Sudan than they do with the Maghreb/rest of North Africa.

The Maghreb has its own incredibly rich cultural sphere & it's influence can be seen in other parts of the Western Mediterranean (Moorish/Berber architectural influence in Southern Iberia etc) and the Sahel region (Tuareg/Maghrebi influenced dresses etc).

why is sub sahara a genetic descriptor though? even by genetics a lot of the grops below the Sahara pre Bantu/cushitic/nilotic expansion were pretty divergent from each other with no relation.

It is not a genetic thing, it is even used by organizations / businesses to describe markets (companies distinguish between the North African and Sub-Saharan African markets even when they make plans).
