I can see where he is coming from, although I don't believe that men are more creative or innovative. I do believe however, that men are given more chances to showcase their natural abilities and ideas compared to women, although things are changing.

Also, confidence differences between men and women are quite dramatic, and there have been many reports on this. I find it interesting that many men would apply for a role in which they only fit 60% of the requirements, whilst women according to studies will only apply if they fit 100% of the requirements.
