There are many variety that grow in our region. Not sure if its adopted in Somalia. These plants are evergreen they look good they create privacy and trap dust. They can also make undeveloped roads look good if planted next to each other by home owners

There is no forest that extend from Borana to Sanaag. There are mountainous forest areas in a stretch of northern Sanaag itself. There are patches of flora-dense regions in several regions on the map. If you take a drive from Sanaag to Borama, you will see semi-arid dessert, not much Tarzan action.

You can grow anything with enough water and organic material look at some of the parks in Dubai. These hedges and trees can easily be recreated in Somaliaas it gets plenty of sun. Just lacks rain and good soil most of country. Which easy to fix on small scale.
