For all of you who constantly keep stammering on about “Me no Arab Me Black”, Here’s a history less for you all. Black Africa has always stood against Somalia. Ethiopia preferred the OAU (Organization of African Unity) to judge the case of Somali Galbeed because it knew Arabs and Muslims would support Somalia while Africans would support Ethiopia. Liberation movements in Kenya were also given the cold shoulder by the OAU and were considered irredentist terrorists. Ethiopians, fearful of Somaliweyn, also easily convinced the OAU to put the inviolability of colonial borders in it’s charter which nearly all of these African governments agreed to. Most African Nations viewed the Ogaden War not as a war of liberation but as a colonialist Arab Nation fighting to destroy the only non colonized Nation in Africa. In fact a large reason why the United States didn’t involve itself in he Ogaden War was because a lot of Africans would be displeased. During the 1964 Border War under Aden Cadde when Somalia tried to take the case to the UN security Counsel the Africans blocked the motion and forced Somalia to take it to OAU where they ganged up on U.S. and rebuked us for supposed irredentism. Remember these people were not, are not, and will never be out allies.
