Any of y’all Been to Nairobi?

In Uk it's 45k a year for international students.
Which will average about 180k after you finished uni, plus 9% interest every year
Uni is free here

medicine. I finished my associates in the US. I’ll get a medicine degree in Kenya inshallah and take the boarding exam for whichever country I want to work at. Thats what my dad said 🤷🏾‍♂️. You have to realize I would rather stay where I’m at but my parents are forcing me go to Nairobi

I've heard about doctors from India, Cuba and the Philippines having to do medical school and residency in the US again in order to work as a physician in the US. Do some thorough research first, before you move to Kenya.

Yes its always better to do it in the country you are in, the west does not care about people from third world, they see a doctor the same as a bin man

Those ppl prolly have failed their boards. Quite frankly you can work anywhere as a doctor you just gotta pass the boards but pass I mean above average. But ofc tho position is not as guaranteed as of those who graduated from the US. And if I don’t find any job opportunities in the US I’ll just stay in that shithole make 1k a month condemning my parents for that horrible ass decision 🤦🏾‍♂️

to get into US u need to revise for a whole year for a test, this test is very competitive as many international students will want to transfer. If you are ready for that then you can try, but I always recommend staying in the west to do degrees

dont get a degree in a 3rd world country
I have 3 adeers that did this shit and rn are working in either Ohio or New York. Wllhi it’s up to luck and hard work. Also nigga why y’all making it sound like I have a choice I have stated I’m being forced and that I’m going against my will 💀

Well if its by force try your best and put ur trust in Allah I'm sure u can do it don't get distracted or lazy or give up

I wish you luck bro. Also a doctors salary in the uk is ass. Looks like you’ll be studying for them US boards as well😭
I prefer to move to a Muslim country.
In the UK someone who works at retail will earn the same amount as a junior doctor.
He will probably enjoy life more than u as he has less stress, no death count or emotional damage on him, doesnt work over hours ro have to spend 5 years of med school to get where u are today.

Worst 3 years of my life in Nairobi, if your a girl good luck dealing with creeps
It’s not dhaqan celis tho. My parents want me to get a degree there. But if the living conditions are ass im not trynna go
degree?! In Kenya? Do you live in the west because those certifications won’t work if you come back. Personally I wouldn’t go because this is obviously a dhaqan celis trap, your never coming back 😂

I went to Kenya but I’m a girl so it was a lot harsher for me, Kenya is enjoyable when your going with people you trust and have your own money. If you don’t have one of those or both DONT GO. Honestly worst time of my life but hey it’s up to you
