I still have to watch the gohan/piccolo one. The animation doesn't really look that good imo. Did you enjoy it?

I am db fan since 08 but lets be real dbz if made today it wouldn't have been as hype as aot is getting. It is the father of modern anime only because it was first to the scene. Also toriyama forgets things all the time.

True but has one of the most surface level stories compared to the big 3. At least one piece and Naruto has depth.

I agree that the writing might not be as good as it was originally, but it's just such an epic anime. Like it has the best fight scenes and most iconic moments ever.

Factually correct however do you think nostalgia is covering you eyes the Goku vs Freiza fight was the longest 1v1 in anime spanning 3hrs and i don't think all of that 3 hrs spent was actual fighting but rather screaming and staring/monologuing at each other.

its 1000% nostalgia and I'm incredibly biased. I'll always love DBZ, Pokemon, Yugioh and Beyblade over any anime now. Best parts of my childhood

No it wasnt it saved gohan characther and gave much needed spotlight to piccolo. Unlike krillen or yamcha piccolo always trains so its not fair for him not to be equal with goku or vegeta. Inshallah they boost my boy tien he really needs some support.
