They could have just agreed to have Arabic as the dominant language and have the mother teach her daughter some Somali at least but to ban the language completely? I had to skip Nursery and two years of school to be homeschooled with Arabic when I started school I didn't know English I was speaking in Arabic and writing in gibberish. The reason why he banned Somali is because he thought it would affect my Arabic when there has been studies that learning two languages at home doesn't ruin the other language speaking ability, you lot are making it a race issue but he is dark like Somalis if anything it's kinda xenophobia (also it makes sense because my dad doesn't speak Somali however my mom speaks Arabic)
