Honestly am not even mad that I didn't learn Somali sure i was sad by it but it doesn't bother me since my Somali relatives lived in the gulf and speak Arabic. In this instance if I didn't know Arabic I would only communicate in English with my Somali family but their Arabic and Somali is more stronger that's what they're more comfortable in speaking infact they speak Arabic more

But my mother never failed me to be fair in this kind of situation Somali language is not needed for me since I still have communication with my Somali relatives in Arabic. Check the genetics, somalis are of the haplogroup E daroods and isaaqs etc are all pretty much on the same subclade of this haplogroup. Figure out if one of the parents is a coon. Having a mixed child and raising them in a non black environment surrounded by racist people is sus.
