I dont mean the weird Jamaican accent.

To me, they sound like Americans with a really bad cold, while the white Canadians sound normal to me except for the weird sorry worry thing they've got going.

I've been to the states fam. Practically every year of my life until uni I have traveled there. Ours is quite honestly in line with how someone from Seattle would sound.

And Toronto just makes it less white.

I don't know if it's because I'm being biased, but y'all sound like Americans who are literally holding their noses :icon lol:

Just very nasally.

I'm tempted to post a voice note :icon lol:

I used to like the American accent, but not anymore. I prefer the standard British accent and the manchester accent. :banderas:

I love New York accent and Boston accent, :banderas:

I love British accent when authentic white British men are speaking it, preferably David Gandy or dev Patel (I know he's Indian so shut up) :banderas:

But I've been to the UK and found it to be quite ugly, you all have horrible weather and bad teeth. So I'm content being in Canada, the BEST, most beautiful country in the world and having a british accent only sounds fancy when you are in a place where no one else has that accent. It would be nice to have a british accent and live in Toronto.
Sorry but in the English speaking world having a British accent counts for something.

I went to L.A. last year and never felt so special with the ladies in my life. :mjlol:

I have an English accent. I do wish I had a different accent though, like a Geordie or Australian accent lol

Lol I know nothing about Britain...Everyone from the UK is British to me. I can't locate Scotland on a map. I'm very ignorant when it comes to most European countries.
Don't know why people say 'British' like everyone in Britain sounds the same lol

No such thing as a British accent.
There is the queens English (posh),
Cockney (east end)
Negro (hood)
Scouse (Liverpool)
Mancunian (Manchester)
Gordi (Newcastle)
Walsh (wales)
Scottish (Scotland)
Yorkshire (Sheffield/ Leeds)
And many more.

What is amazing about American accent is it's all the same. I find it easier to understand a person with an American accent than say a scouse accent, it's like trying to listen to a Rasta man speaking.
