American And British Accents

I prefer my British tongue I sound rather posh outside the internet realm. I truly am baffled at where I got my accent from as I live in a land filled with Chavs and the Brummy accent bluegh !!

I'm coming to Birmingham to visit some relatives. Why don't we meet and u show me around the city

People from Newfounland and Nova Scotia have pretty strong Canadian accents, but Torontonians don't have a strong accent. I like the New Yorker American accent for some reason even the Texas southern slurs are kinda sexy.

I think British people sound so sophisticated. I love listening to them talk as well.

I can tell the difference between someone who has a posh accent and those who don't. But most British people sound nice to my ears. Of course not everyone has the same socio-economic status and some may sound trashy due to a lack of vocabulary and privileged mannerism but on a large scale the british way of speaking sounds the most sophisticated to me. If I ever have kids, I may enrol them in a British private school.

So I'm content being in Canada, the BEST, most beautiful country in the world and having a british accent only sounds fancy when you are in a place where no one else has that accent. CANADA is just too modest to brag about their gorgeous people, friendly manner, acceptance, tolerance, and cleanliness. i'm starting to enjoy british accents on women



the only differences are words we say that are closer to you guys

versatile pronounced versa-tile rather than versatull for instance

other than it is pretty indistinguishable from the american variety

there is a high-raising thing going on in the northern provinces but we're talking less 10% of the population that speaks that way. imagine a white person from seattle but not as moronic with vocabulary and you pretty much have what we have.

tbh the standard toronto accent is how english should sound like. pronouncing each letter like it actually exists rather than pretending r's and t's are optional.
