I feel sorry for Americans who have to pay like $500-1000 a month into health insurance.
Here this medicare card in Australia is all you need to present to GP offices, Public Hospitals, Specialists, Any surgery at zero cost to the consumer. It's paid thru 1% tax on your income. Avg income 60k, will be pay 1%, that's $600 a year. Thats $50 a month. Plus we have way better health outcomes, highest lifespan in the world.
Even all our medications are subsidized becuz govt interferes and make sure pharmaceuticals has to deal with them only or lose our market, won't cost u more then $20 the most expensive medication which are like $50,000 in America
