I’m not going to be a career obsessed wage slave and work until 60-70 like those miserable and depressed cadaans because their kids left them.

1) Work as much as possible and save money while you live with your parents.

2) Buy a cheap house outright. In full and cash so you no longer have to worry about the ridiculously expensive rent or mortage bills.

3) Retire early.

4) Take advantage of the universal basic income that’s going to be implemented soon. Use that to pay your electricity bills and rely on growing fruit/vegetables in your backyard.

5. Enjoy the retirement dream.

You can always work in a less stressful semi-retirement job for 1-2 days a week if you want extra cash.

or

Save money and consider the low cost of living back home. Buy a villa back home that’s considered dirt cheap by western standard and enjoy the retirement dream.

Feel bad for the economist of tomorrow.

Robots will make everything 5x cheaper but no one will be able to afford it.

That's untill property tax forces you to get off your ass and get back in the rat race.

If we have the capabilities of planetary engineering and terraform Mars, then we can fix our Earth to become much more habitable for all lifeforms.

It's such a waste of energy and resources to use it on other useless planets.

no jobs for cabbies, truck drivers, amazon/walmart warehouse, dell, meat packing. i guess we'll all become drug dealers or pickpockets as those 2 "professions" can't be automated.

I work in Programming and there is alot of fear mongering when it comes to robots and ai.

It can help but it will not anytime soon replace people..

Mighty

If wars can be started with lies, so can peace.
the thing is even those jobs will be automated, as they're currently working on AI that can program itself, the other three are already replaceable by AI, as it can analysis thousands of architecture worldwide in seconds and pick the best option(kind of like how its already taken all the stock market jobs), and it can probably be fixed by other specialized robots
Do you mean machine learning?

How would it be a waste of resources if you have an access to far more resources:bell:
Earth is already “fixed” but expanding and being able to house 100 to 500 billion humans will be eventually needed

Do you think in the future doctors will also be replaced like in the scifi movies? You hop into a pod, get get double bypass surgery just like that with robot nurses to take care of you after.

Insurance companies will push for it.

Some surgeries are already carried out by robots.

In a decade a decent fraction of our interactions with the health sector will be done through AI or robotics.

Hardware is already out there... We're just waiting on the software to be perfected and over a billion dollars has been invested into to that goal already.

Pickpocketing in an age of AI assisted surveillance will be hard.

Also it's cheaper to run robotic mules once they get cheap enough.

A 10k delivery bot could do that job just as well and in the near future it'll less likely to get robbed by fiends or rival gangs.

I'm talking about something like this.
